In the following weeks, we will be in touch on how the project is

Dear Friends, Fans & Family,
The Vivants are SO excited to be launching our Kickstarter Campaign TODAY!
We have spent some time preparing for this big day by creating a campaign
that outlines our project and the AWESOME rewards we are offering in exchange for
your generous donations.
If you are unfamiliar with Kickstarter
, in nutshell, it’s a way for creative
projects such as albums, comic books, sriracha flavored ketchups and films
(to name a few) to get funded and launched into the world!
The Vivants are campaigning for 30 days: November 9 through December 9 to raise
$5,500 big ones to complete our FULL LENGTH ALBUM.
Can’t wait to invite you all to our CD RELEASE party in 2013!
hugs + kisses,
Emily Bonn & The Vivants
August 24th was a momentous night at The Independent. The Easy Leaves brought the Sonoma County peeps down from the north to help fill the joint. TV Mike & The Scarecrows made a kickass poster. Many thanks go out to Maggie Mae for taking some great photos from the night!
In other news: We took a little time off from performing and have been in the studio working on our new full length album! Lots of new tunes are coming your way hopefully by early 2013. Stay tuned for our Kickstarter campaign. It’s time to start raising some serious cash for this next big endeavor. You can start following the campaign HERE. We will let you know when it’s live and you can help us start funding this bad boy!

If you are coming from the North Bay there is a party bus, “Thunderstar” leaving Santa Rosa at 5p and then Petaluma at 530p. $25 gets you to transpo to and fro to the show, ticket price and you can bring your own booze on the bus. What a deal! For more info:
We are rosining up our bows and shining up our boots to hit the road this weekend for two shows in Northern California. SAT. AUGUST 4th, we head up to Mendocino to the historic Caspar Inn. The town of Caspar, a few miles outside of Mendocino, was a booming logging town with a population of around 800. The Caspar Inn has been providing the coastal community with live music and dancing since 1906! We are happy to soon be part of this long history of raising a ruckus on the road.
On SUNDAY, AUGUST 5th we are heading back down to Sonoma County via Healdsburg to Bergamot Alley, self-described as “inspiration, community, elbow grease, love, and shenanigans. Great wine and beer too.” FREE SHOW!
Hope to see you out there on the road. Tell your Mendocino and Sonoma County friends!
Sat. Aug 4
Sun. Aug 5
We are sharing a great bill with Oakland’s, The Harkenbacks and all the
way from Santa Cruz, The Juncos. Cafe du Nord in SF, Doors at 8p, show starts at 9pm.
3 bands – only $10!
This summer we will be heading out of Foggyland to feel the warmth of the sun and hopefully see you all out on the dance floor! (Check our show listings for details.) We got some new tunes that can’t wait to get out on the wide open road (even if it’s just north of the fogbank).
But first, Sat. June 9th we will represent in our hometown at one of SF’s oldest music festivals. The San Francisco Free Folk Festival was conceived in 1976 by the San Francisco Folk Music Club, which staged it for the first two years at the Hall of Flowers. And now they take over the Presidio Middle School in the Richmond. There will be lots of jamming in the halls, workshops and live music. And best of all, it’s FREE and ALL AGES!
